The advancement path

Four stages, published openly. Here's what each one asks of you and what it takes to move up.

1. Agent

65%

Requirements

  • Complete bootcamp and orientation
  • $5,000 annualized premium in the first 90 days
  • 85% persistency
  • At least 2 active licensed agents on your team

Advance when

$20,000 total paid premium + 3 months of active production.

2. Team Lead

75%

Requirements

  • $7,500+ per month annualized premium
  • 85% persistency
  • Lead one team training per quarter
  • Mentor one new Team Lead

Advance when

$75,000 total paid premium + demonstrated leadership and a clean compliance record.

3. Broker

85%

Requirements

  • Self-fund E&O, CE and additional licensing
  • Consistent production and clean compliance
  • Directly mentored at least 4 Team Leads

Advance when

$150,000 total paid premium + a signed broker agreement.

4. Director

95%

Requirements

  • Self-fund E&O, licensing and CE
  • $250,000+ total paid premium

The milestone

The milestone stage: scaling your own agency, with downline and override structure.

Everyone starts at 65%. Exceptions for prior experience require IAM Partner Board approval. Every advancement requires meeting the paid-premium threshold, a clean compliance record with all carriers, and final approval from the IAM Partner Board. There is no minimum time-in-stage requirement.

Contract levels, requirements, and milestones described here are subject to change. Current signed agreements between IAM Money Management and the agent govern in all cases. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of income, promotion, or timing. Advancement depends on individual production, compliance, and business need.
