IAM Money Management, LLC ("IAM," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit iammoneymanagement.com (the "Site"), book a conversation, download our educational materials, apply to join our team, or use an account on the Site. It also explains how we use, share and protect that information, and the choices you have.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who We Are

IAM Money Management, LLC is an independent insurance agency based in California. We provide education and planning around life insurance, annuities, retirement income, protection and legacy planning.

2. Information We Collect

Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank or account numbers, medical information, or other sensitive details through the Site's general contact forms.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our systems and service providers may automatically collect:

  • Your IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system

  • Pages you view, links you click, and the date and time of your visit

  • The website or source that referred you to the Site

We collect this through standard server logs, cookies, and similar technologies (see Section 6).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your questions and schedule the conversations you request

  • Send you the materials you ask for, such as eBooks

  • Provide educational content about financial preparation, protection, and retirement planning

  • Review agent applications, verify licensing, and support onboarding and contracting

  • Create, secure, and manage accounts on the Site

  • Send service-related messages, such as booking confirmations, account notices, and security alerts

  • Send occasional educational or marketing emails, which you can opt out of at any time

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site

  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and licensing obligations, and protect our rights and the rights of others

AI-assisted features. Some Site features, such as helping agents draft a professional bio, use an artificial intelligence service provider to generate text from information the user provides. We send only the information needed for that feature, and the user reviews the result before it is published.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting, database and account services, scheduling, email delivery, and AI text generation. They may use your information only to provide services to us.

  • Insurance carriers and our marketing organization (IMO), when needed to provide the services you request or, for agents, to complete licensing verification and contracting.

  • Legal and safety reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of IAM, our clients, or others.

  • Business transfers, if IAM is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

  • With your consent, for any other purpose you agree to.

5. Email Communications

If you download materials, book a conversation, or join our mailing list, we may send you educational and marketing emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us at privacy@iammoneymanagement.com. Even after you opt out, we may still send messages related to your account, bookings, or an ongoing relationship.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in and keep accounts secure (essential cookies)

  • Remember your preferences

  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it (analytics)

You can set your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account and login features from working.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, so the Site does not currently respond to them.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may embed or link to services operated by others, such as our scheduling tool. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their policies.

8. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted password storage, and role-based access controls that limit who can view account information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. This includes meeting legal, regulatory, insurance-licensing, and recordkeeping requirements, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Delete your information, subject to legal and regulatory exceptions

  • Stop sending you marketing emails

To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

California residents

Your California privacy rights. Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 ("Shine the Light"), California residents may ask whether we have shared personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

Insurance-related information may also be protected under the California Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act and the California Financial Information Privacy Act. We handle that information as those laws require.

11. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Visitors Outside the United States

The Site is operated in the United States and is intended for U.S. residents. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If we make significant changes, we may also notify you through the Site or by email. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
